Next to daily fresh bread and frozen bread, La Lorraine has built up expertise in products packed under protective atmosphere. These products' added value lies in their extended shelf life allowing for up to 12 weeks of displaying at ambient temperatures. In a retail environment, storage at room temperature is clearly cheaper than frozen.

Our portfolio consist of a core product range flanked by some specialties that let you construct your in-store image:

  • Plain ciabatta, packed per 1 or 2 pieces together with the 4 small ciabattina make up the core of the portfolio. These offer a recognizable product for the end-user and are ideal to establish a market position.
  • Besides that, one finds the artisan baguette and the artisan breads, that cater to a slightly more knowledgeable consumer or a consumer that seeks variety in his bread consumption.
  • To create fuzz and added value around the category, La Lorraine also produces products packed under protective atmosphere with flavours such as the successful tomato flavoured bread, the black or green olive versions and the basil flavoured ciabatta.


We combine this product portfolio with our long history as private label manufacturer as well as with our knowledge of stone bake products.

  • We supply in a range of different carton sizes, often printed in full colour and with display functionality. This offers the maximum of convenience for the retail personnel: just put the box in the shelves and rip of the special closure of the box.
  • We are organized to label with stickers as well as with printed film in a variety of colours and designs. All aimed at supporting the customer's brand image.
  • Our experience in producing frozen stone bake products such as ciabatta and artisan breads, is transferred directly onto the products packed under protective atmosphere. As such, we can quickly adapt to market preferences.
